Preliminary REACH Pregnancy results to be presented at upcoming conferences

 REACH Pregnancy’s abstract entitled “Timing of HIV diagnosis in HIV-positive pregnant women giving birth in a high prevalence Russian region” has been selected for poster presentation at two upcoming international conferences: the 10th International Workshop on HIV & Women in Boston, USA (6-7 March 2020) and the 24th International Workshop on HIV and Hepatitis Observational Databases (IWHOD) in Sitges, Spain (26-28 March 2020).

The poster will be featured on a guided poster tour at the International Workshop on HIV & Women on Saturday 7 March.

The authors are Rebecca Sconza, Dr Yulia Plotnikova, Aleksey Plynsky, Dr Vladimir Rozenberg, and Professor Claire Thorne.

Rebecca Sconza was awarded a Dissemination Grant by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research for this work. Selected candidates are authors of high-scoring abstracts submitted to the Workshop on HIV & Women and have identified themselves as young investigators or representatives of resource-limited settings.
